Men Survivors of Domestic Violence, I had such a positive feedback from the last show we did I decided to do another one. Domestic Violence knows no race, creed, religion or sex. It is a global
issue that needs to be talked about, brought into the light as not just
a "private matter".

Joining Project Empowerment is filmmaker Angela Shelton, in her film Searching for Angela Shelton, she drives around the United States surveying other Angela Sheltons. She discovers that 24 out of the 40 Angela Shelton's she speaks to are survivors of rape, childhood sexual abuse and/or domestic violence. (The number jumped to 28 out of 40 when 4 more Angela's broke their silence after the movie was completed.) On her journey the filmmaker meets an Angela Shelton who tracks sexual predators and lives in the same town as the filmmaker's father, who sexually abused her and her siblings for years. We will be discussed her work, the film, and how it has helped empower both men and women across the globe.
